Complete update Super League
Transfermarkt have updated the market values in the Serbian Super Liga, further confirming Red Star Belgrade’s supremacy. Even before the update, the series champion had the highest squad value and provided the three most valuable professionals – all three were given a further plus, including former Leverkusen player Aleksandar Dragovic.
The 31-year-old central defender left the Werkself last summer and established himself as a regular in Belgrade. For the first time since 2016, when the Austrian was about to move from Dynamo Kyiv to the Bundesliga and was €15m, Dragovic has received an upgrade (+€1m).
Now with €5m, he shares second place in the league with his teammates Aleksandar Katai (31; €+0.5m) and Strahinja Erakovic. The 21-year-old centre-back, who made his breakthrough this year, has jumped €2.5m, the biggest gain in the league.
Mirko Ivanic (28) is still at the top with EUR 8 million (+ EUR 1 million). The attacking midfielder was the top scorer in all competitions after Katai (32 goals, 14 assists) with 23 goals and 14 assists. While the champion increased slightly by 650,000 to 51.75 million euros, the city rival loses 1.8 million and is now at 39.36 million euros.
This is how the Transfermarkt market values work
The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
