Talents on the rise
Shortly before the turn of the year, a duo is at the top in terms of market values in the Regionalliga Nord, which will be active in the 2nd Bundesliga from January. Ex-Bayern talent Franck Evina (22) aroused the interest of SV Sandhausen with twelve goals and six assists in 18 games for Hannover 96 II, Elias Saad (23) switched from Eintracht Norderstedt to 13 goals and four assists in 20 competitive games FC St. Pauli – both therefore also win in terms of market value. Evina remains at the top after an increase of 50,000 to 300,000 euros, Saad is the big winner of the market value update in the northern season of the 4th division with a jump of 150 percent to 250,000 euros.
While the more experienced players in the upper market value segment mostly confirm their valuations at table leader VfB Lübeck, there are further upgrades among others at the pursuers HSV II and 96 II. At Hamburg, for example, storm talent Moses Otuali (20) wins, who jumps by 50,000 to 175,000 euros , or right-back Leon Sommer (21), for whom it is about 25,000 to 150,000 euros. In Hanover, Monju Momuluh (20) doubles his market value to 200,000 euros, six Tom Moustier (20) increases by 50,000 to 150,000 euros – both should be an issue for the professional squad in the second half of the season.
This is how the Transfermarkt market values work
The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
