With Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior, only three footballers have a market value of more than 100 million euros. The latter moves closer to the top two thanks to another upgrade in the LaLiga update. A total of 117 footballers have been revalued in Spain, including former Dortmund player Ousmane Dembélé, whose market value curve is pointing upwards for the first time in over three and a half years.
At the age of 22, Vinicius Junior has shown considerable consistency and continued his performances from last year at the start of the season, when he made his final breakthrough at Real Madrid and jumped from €40m to €100m. “Also this year he is convincing as a decisive factor in a team that currently only knows winning. His potential has been recognized and appreciated often enough – since he is constantly exploiting all his opportunities, his market value continues to rise steeply,” says Tobias Blaseio, Data Administrator Transfermarkt Spain.
Among other things, five goals and four assists in the first nine games ensure the plus to 120 million euros. The gap to Mbappé and Haaland is only 40 million and 30 million euros respectively.

Team-mate Aurélien Tchouameni is also up €20m. The 22-year-old Frenchman came from AS Monaco in the summer as the most expensive purchase of “Royal” for 80 million euros. “It was not necessarily to be expected that Tchouameni would let Casemiro’s departure be forgotten so quickly. But thanks to his strong physique and technical skills, it’s already clear why Real Madrid transferred such an enormous sum. Accordingly, his market value is already increasing on the transfer fee paid,” explains Blaseio.
Not only thanks to Tchouameni, it is already becoming apparent that the Madrilenians’ midfield will be in the best of hands after the era of the veterans Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. Blaseio says: “The generation change in midfield is in full swing. Real Madrid’s squad planning is impressive and Valverde has consistently stood out these days, with energetic performances and an irrepressible will.
