Interim update Superligaen
After the announcement of his move to VfL Wolfsburg next summer, the big winner in the interim update of the Danish Superligaen is Kamil Grabara (24). The FC Copenhagen goalkeeper increased by 4 million euros and is now valued at 9 million, which puts him at (19) at the top of the market value ranking.
Grabara is supposed to replace the outgoing goalkeeper Koen Casteels (31) at the “Wolves”, for which the Lower Saxony team will dig deep into their pockets. According to reports, VfL is paying 13.5 million euros – never in the club’s history have they invested more for a keeper. As a result, the market value is also increased.
Ingvartsen, Grabara & Co.: The most valuable professionals in the Superligaen
There is also a significant upgrade for Grabara’s teammate Roony Bardghji. The 17-year-old top talent increases his market value by 100 percent from 2 million to 4 million euros. The winger started the new season successfully with Copenhagen, scoring four goals in eight games and establishing himself in the regular lineup. “Bardghji remains a very exciting boy who some clubs will be looking at when FC Copenhagen competes in the Champions League,” says market value admin Tobias Räthel (“sami09”).
Update Superligaen: Osorio & Lind on the rise – Elyounoussi biggest loser
The development of Darío Osorio (19), for whom the largest transfer fee in the league was paid this summer, is also positive. FC Midtjylland put 5.2 million euros on the table for the Chilean left winger, making the fast winger the third most expensive newcomer in the history of Denmark’s first division. After an increase of one million, Osorio stands at 4.5 million euros.
Alexander Lind is upgraded by 550,000 euros to 800,000 euros. Seven of Silkeborg IF’s 14 goals were scored by the center forward. The 21-year-old also made his debut for Denmark’s U21 team during the last international break.
Meanwhile, the red pencil goes to Mohamed Elyounoussi (29), one of the biggest names in the Superligaen. The Norwegian came to the Copenhagen champions from Premier League relegated FC Southampton on a free transfer in the summer and will be devalued from 9 million to 7 million euros. He is by far the biggest loser of the update, but is still among the top 3 most valuable players in Denmark.
This is how transfer market market values work
The transfer market market values are created taking into account various pricing models as well as a strong involvement of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values cannot generally be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
