Update 1. HNL
Transfermarkt has completely updated the market values of the Croatian 1. HNL after the end of the season. Champion Dinamo Zagreb is one of two teams along with NK Istra 1961 that loses squad value. The capitals lost by 2.6 percent, but with 94.9 million euros they are still by far the most valuable squad in the league.
While Luka Ivanusec (23) maintains his market value and maintains his status as the league’s most valuable player at €12.5m, his teammate Josip Sutalo (22) moves up into the top rankings. The centre-back is the biggest gainer of this update at €3m, rising to his career high of €8m, surpassed by only three players in the league – all at Dinamo. In addition to Ivanusec, Mislav Orsic (29) and Dominik Livakovic (27) complete the ranking of the three most valuable players in the 1st HNL.
As in the previous update, the two Croatian internationals are down again in terms of market value. Orsic falls by a million to 10 million euros, and Livakovic loses the most with 1.5 million to 8.5 million euros. For the first time since 2019, the goalkeeper, who last only sat on the bench in the national team, does not have a double-digit value.
Dinamo Zagreb dominates: The most valuable players of the Croatian 1. HNL
This is how the Transfermarkt market values work
The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
