Update efbet league
Transfermarkt has updated the market values of the Bulgarian efbet league. Right winger Bernard Tekpetey from Ludogorets Razgrad remains at the top of the market value rankings, a familiar face from the Bundesliga. The newly crowned cup winner is also the top 3 of the most valuable professionals as well as the biggest winner with center forward Igor Thiago.
The latter had moved from EC Cruzeiro to Bulgaria in February last year for around 1.3 million euros. With 13 goals in the past season, he ranked fourth in the scorers list and was fifth in the scorer ranking with seven additional assists. The 21-year-old, who was last linked with Belgium’s Club Brugge, has increased his market value by around €3m to €4m. Behind his teammate Kiril Despodov, who made a jump of 500,000 euros with a season record of 23 goals in 26 games and is now valued at 4.5 million euros, Thiago finds himself in third place among the most valuable players.
Tekpetey is still enthroned in front of the youngster with an unchanged value of 5 million euros. The Ghanaian, who switched from FC Schalke to Ludogorets for 900,000 euros in 2021 after four loans (to Fortuna Düsseldorf and SC Paderborn, among others) for 900,000 euros, made a significant contribution to Razgrad’s successful season with two titles to date, scoring eight goals and five assists in the championship group after four days on course for the twelfth championship in a row.
With goalkeeper Simon Sluga, who lost €400,000 by half his previous market value, Spanish right-back Pipa and ex-Mainz Todor Nedelev, who came from Plovdiv in February, Ludogorets are also the three biggest losers of the update. The 44-time national player also fell short of expectations with one goal in ten appearances across all competitions due to injury.
