Vitor Roque dethroned
After his move to Real Madrid became known in the summer of 2024, a lot of things in Brazilian football revolved around Palmeiras talent Endrick. This is also reflected in the Série A market value update. After his first senior international appearances, 13 league goals and the second championship title in a row, the 17-year-old’s market value rose the most among all players and is approaching what the Madrilenians will probably have to pay for the transfer.
With an increase of 20 million to a new league high of 45 million euros, Endrick is now one of the seven most valuable teenagers in football, overtaking compatriot Vitor Roque from Paranaense, although he also increased by 8 million to 40 million euros, and has consequently now the highest valuation in the Brazilian league. “Even though he had been considered one of the hottest talents in international football since he was 15 years old, the young striker had not yet been able to prove that his talent was sufficient for the professional level,” explains Transfermarkt Area Manager Brazil Marcos Watts. “Endrick has been able to clear up this ambiguity in the last few months.”

But Endrick, whose transfer fee for Real Madrid could possibly increase from an initial 37 million to 50 million to 60 million euros, is not the only name that concerns Brazilian football. Vitor Roque’s rating, which has improved by 25 percent, is by no means in the shadow of Endrick; at 18 years old – and about to make his second million-dollar transfer – the future Barcelona professional is naturally already a little further ahead. “Vitor Roque truly belongs to the category of generational talent and has proven this,” concludes Watts.

Vitor Roque will be moving to Europe in January. FC Barcelona struck for 40 million euros, excluding other possible bonuses. Its market value increases to a corresponding level. “He has everything you would expect from a 1.72 meter tall striker: speed and strong dribbling skills. He has a special calmness on the ball and an excellent finish,” says expert Watts, assessing the young professional. “Vitor Roque is on track to become Brazil’s number 9 – him or Endrick.”
Market values Brazil: Plus for Fluminenses André – Palmeiras distances Flamengo
According to the update, in the market value ranking behind the two top talents, Marcos Leonardo from FC Santos (+8 to 25 million) and Fluminense six André are tied. “He was crucial in the Libertadores win and was always present for the Seleção in 2023 (four appearances, ed.). He enjoys great recognition,” says Watts, summing up André’s market value, which has improved by two thirds and, like Marcos Leonardo’s, rises to 25 million euros. In the TM rumor mill, he was recently linked to BVB alongside Fulham, Tottenham and Liverpool.
Gabriel Barbosa, who was once the Brasileirão’s most valuable player, lost the largest amount. In his worst year at Flamengo, the center forward lost €3 million and fell to eighth place in the league rankings with a market value of €17 million. This also drags down his team’s squad value.
Flamengo, previously valued less than a million euros better than Palmeiras, will have to let the champion go after this update. This is due to the team from São Paulo’s 50 million plus as well as Flamengo’s stagnation. Only a minimal increase of 1.4 million euros has been recorded for the club from Rio de Janeiro. New conditions: Flamengo is at 162 million euros, Palmeiras at 210 million euros, making it the second most valuable team outside Europe after Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
