Market values Bosnia: Bradaric remains at the top of the league despite the biggest loss

Update Premier League

Transfermarkt updated the Bosnian Premier League around six weeks after the start of the season. Zrinjski Mostar’s new signing Filip Bradaric remains at the top of the league’s internal market value ranking despite the biggest loss. Overall, the league increases its total market value to over 60 million euros (for an overview).

The 31-year-old midfielder Bradaric joined the reigning double winners in August after being without a club for almost eleven months following his departure from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli SFC. Now the six-time Croatia national player has to accept the biggest loss of 500,000 euros. With its new market value of 700,000 euros, the homegrown product from the traditional Croatian club Hajduk Split is still at the forefront.

With goalkeeper Muhamed Sahinovic from current league leaders FK Sarajevo, there is only one market value winner in this ranking among the top 5. The 19-year-old goalkeeper talent will receive an increase of 100,000 euros in his second professional season; from now on he will be valued at 400,000 euros. Things are going downhill for his Colombian teammate and summer signing Kevin Viveros, who ranks behind Bradaric with 600,000 euros.

This is how transfer market market values work

The transfer market market values are created taking into account various pricing models as well as a strong involvement of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values cannot generally be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
