Kady now at the top
Transfermarkt have completely revised the market values in Azerbaijan’s Premyer Liqa after the end of the season. The biggest winner is top scorer Kady (26) from sovereign champions Qarabağ FK. The twelve-time goalscorer increases his market value by 500,000 to 1.2 million euros, which means that he is now joint with Emin Mahmudov (30) from Neftchi Baku at the top of the league rankings. Meanwhile, teammate Abdellah Zoubir (30) is saying goodbye to the same man after a drop of 200,000 to one million euros.
In addition to Kady, former youth player Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Joy-Lance Mickels has also achieved the highest value of his career so far. The 28-year-old winger has been with Sabah FK since the summer and has recorded a strong 21 points (14 goals/seven assists) in 28 competitive games for the Azerbaijanis this season. The ex-player from Wacker Nordhausen, among others, increases by 150,000 to 500,000 euros.
This is how the Transfermarkt market values work
The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
