Update in Abissanet Superiore
After completing the first quarter of the season in the Abissnet Superiore, the market values in the first and second Albanian leagues have been updated with the result that there is a new leader in the ranking of the most valuable players. The internationally best-known footballer active in Albania, Raphael Dwamena (28), takes the lead.
Despite minor injury problems, the center forward from league leaders KF Egnatia confidently leads the scorers list with nine goals in eight games and also proved his class in the Conference League qualification. Due to increased international interest and despite his past heart problems, the Ghanaian has become the most valuable professional in the league following an increase from 300,000 euros to 700,000 euros.
Behind Dwamena in the rankings is the technically strong midfield organizer Arinaldo Rrapaj from champions FK Partizani, who is up from 150,000 euros to 600,000 euros. At the age of 22, he had already played over 150 first division games in Albania, led Partizani to the playoffs of the Europa Conference League, in which they narrowly failed against FC Astana, and was the key player in the last title win. Rrapaj’s speed dribbling, ball security as well as his dangerous set pieces and long-range shots quickly put him on the list of some scouts. A move to Ludogorets Razgrad is said to have failed at the beginning of the year due to details.
The biggest statement next to Dwamena is made by 16-year-old Ergis Arifi, who was a regular at Teuta at the start of the season and also scored his first goal for the professionals. The offensive midfield talent, who also made his debut in the Albanian U19 national team a few weeks ago, starts with a market value of 300,000 euros. Arifi’s value is not even higher because Teuta is in a relegation battle and has already had a coaching change, which has recently reduced his playing minutes.
This is how transfer market market values work
The transfer market market values are created taking into account various pricing models as well as a strong involvement of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values cannot generally be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this will be here listed. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for a detailed definition of market value).
