Special transfer from Russia
Another Rubin Kazan player, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (21), has found a new team as part of the special transfer window for foreign players from Russian clubs. The Georgian returns home to Dinamo Batumi, where he is unrivaled in terms of market value in the squad.
Dinamo are reigning champions and currently top of the Georgian league. The squad value of the team is now four times higher than that of the second most valuable team, Dinamo Tbilisi, because national player Kvaratskhelia raises the average significantly. With a market value of 16 million euros, he himself is valued twice as high as his entire team. Irakli Azarovi (20) has been the most valuable professional at Batumi and in the league so far with one million euros and thus a clear lead over third place. Kvaratskhelia, who comes from the youth of opponent Dinamo Tiflis, will stay until the summer and, as of now, still has a contract with Rubin Kazan in Russia until 2024.
