Mark Zuckerberg, the boss of the social media platform Meta, better known as Facebook, won medals in Brazilian jujutsu last week in the sport’s tournament.
Zuckerberg competed in the lightweight second division of the tournament in the gi and no-gi categories, i.e. with and without a suit, and won gold and silver.
Zuckerberg was coached by one of the sport’s coaching wizards Dave Camarillo.

He has previously spoken publicly about his love for martial arts. He spoke about his passion for the first time in public last year on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
– There is something so primitive about it. I’ve introduced the sport to a lot of my friends, we train together, wrestle together and there’s a certain intensity to it that I like.

Zuckerberg is known as the creator of Facebook and has earned a dubious reputation during his career.

– From the first practice, I thought, where has this (sport) been all my life? My mother forced me to play three varsity sports and my life went in the wrong direction when I chose competitive fencing over wrestling.
