Mark van Bommel has guided Royal Antwerp FC to a historic Champions League participation. For the first time in club history, the Belgian champion enters the group stage of the billion dollar ball. Antwerp won 1-2 on a visit to AEK Athens and that was more than enough for a Champions League ticket after the victory in the first leg.
