Mark Rutte would like to make up for his canceled second visit to Today Inside. The prime minister would like it if Gerard Joling would come again. “I hope he will be there.”
Actually, Prime Minister Mark Rutte was supposed to join Today Inside, the most popular talk show in the Netherlands, for the second time in a short time last night. He would then be sitting at the table and Gerard Joling in the background at the bar. However, the prime minister had to cancel because he was ill the day before and had to catch up on a debate.
Find new date
Gerard was present last night and caused the necessary hilarity at the table, among other things by burping and making a joke about Johan Derksen’s ‘bulge’.
But what about Ruth? Will he make up his canceled visit? “Mr Rutte, VI… You had to skip VI. Will you come back?” asks reporter Merel Ek him in The Hague.

Rutte laughing: “Ehh, I’m not going to tell anything about that, but I’m going to be careful!”

Gerard does listen to it. “Too bad he wasn’t here tonight. If he does come, I’ll invite myself. That’s super fun, isn’t it?” he says in the section In The Hallways.
He wants to keep it classy. That with the dildo helmet went too far, he says. “I found that on the edge. That’s the stuff that goes overseas, but he shoved it off really well. I have to screech because it’s my humor. Of course it is quite flat. I think it’s great, but it can’t be done with the Prime Minister. There are borders.”
