Swedish-Finnish journalist Mark Levengood and a writer Jonas Gardell split earlier this year after 37 years together and 12 years of marriage.
Now Levengood tells a Swedish newspaper for Aftonbladetthat the couple plans to spend Christmas together despite their separation.
– As always, I celebrated with my family, my children and Jonas. We always celebrate together, Levengood tells Aftonbladet.
Levengood goes on to say that he likes to spend Christmas with a large group. Friends are also invited who would otherwise have to celebrate alone.
Levengood does not comment further on the current relationship of the ex-couple to Aftonbladet.

In January, Levengood and Gardell announced on Instagram that they had separated. At the time, they said they were not going to file for divorce, but that the love affair was over.
In May, Levengood said in an interview with Anna magazine that the love is not over and the fate of the relationship is still unclear.
– I still don’t know if we will get back together. If we end up breaking up, it’s impossible for me to think that we’d aim for anything other than becoming close friends. We have children and everything, Levengood said in Anna.
In June Aftonbladet reported that the couple had filed for divorce and it had taken effect.
The ex-couple has 20- and 17-year-old children.
