Marion Norbert Riberolle solos to victory in…

The Dutch Larissa Hartog (Giant-Liv) took the closest place of honor in this Exact Cross. American champion Clara Honsinger (EF Education) completed the podium. Luxembourg’s Liv Wenzel (SebMotobikes) took fourth place, ahead of Kiona Crabbé (Proximus-Cyclis CT). After Essen and Otegem, this was the third victory of the season for Marion Norbert Riberolle.

Kiona Crabbé and the British Xan Crees were the best after the long approach to the field. Behind them followed the Dutch Larissa Hartog, Marion Norbert Riberolle, Febe De Smedt, the Dutch Bloeme Kalis and the Luxembourgish Liv Wenzel. After five minutes of cross, Marion Norbert Riberolle went on an adventure. Larissa Hartog tried to bridge the gap with the number three of the BC and followed at 7 seconds at the start of the second lap. A trio with Liv Wenzel, Xan Crees and Bloeme Kalis followed a little further on.

The next lap, Riberolle’s lead over Hartog had already grown to 17 seconds. Wenzel and Crees were 44 seconds behind, while Kalis, Honsinger, Barthels, Crabbé and the Dutch Noï Moes were already 53 seconds behind. Half cross, Marion Norbert Riberolle continued to maintain a tight pace. Larissa Hartog had neatly positioned herself in position two, while Liv Wenzel had gotten rid of Xan Crees and Clara Honsinger was chugging around in fourth. The latter then moved resolutely to third place. However, she would no longer reassemble Marion Norbert Riberolle and Larissa Hartog. Riberolle soloed to her second victory this week, after Otegem.
