Mario Götze says thank you with emotional words

The change is fixed, Mario Götze will play for Eintracht Frankfurt in the future. He now expressed deep gratitude to his ex-club.

Mario Götze returns to the Bundesliga. The former Dortmund and Munich player is moving from PSV Eindhoven to Eintracht Frankfurt. Götze now found emotional farewell words for his previous club, with which he thanked him for the last two years in the Netherlands.

“There are so many reasons to say thank you,” Götze begins his Instagram post. In addition, a video with his most beautiful goals and best actions in the PSV jersey.

Götze thanks coach Schmidt: “Learned so much”

Götze writes: “Thanks to the whole club, who welcomed me so warmly and gave me a good feeling from the start. (…) You have often reminded me why I love this sport so much.”

The 2014 world champion wrote to PSV fans: “I will never forget the feeling of scoring a goal in front of a sold-out crowd.”

He gives a special thanks to his teammates and coach Roger Schmidt, who would have liked to take him to Benfica: “Even after so many years in professional football, I still learned so much from my teammates and coaches. We worked really hard in the last two years and I’m glad we were able to bring a trophy to Eindhoven.” PSV won the Dutch Cup last season.
