Marieke Elsinga stops with the morning show that she makes together with Mattie Valk on Qmusic. That’s what insiders say to radionar Patrick Kicken, who writes a notorious column for Mouthtube.
Patrick Kicken, who was a DJ on Radio Veronica for many years, speaks of a ‘juicy rumor’ that ‘may well become reality in the foreseeable future’. “Now we have to add to this rumor that it comes from the Talpa Radio camp,” he writes in his speaking tube columnpointing to the rivalry between Talpa’s Radio 538 and Qmusic.
‘Marieke to 538’
So this is about Marieke Elsinga. She would make the switch from Qmusic to Radio 538, just like program boss Dave Minneboo recently did. “He was the driving force behind the reunification of Mattie & Wietze during Radio 555. Marieke spent the early evening at this benefit with Coen Swijnenberg,” says Patrick.
He continues: “Do you also see here what the best paid radio bobo in 2022 is pre-sorting? It is an open secret that Elsinga secretly finds her TV career very important. Combining a morning show with evening TV is killer. It can be combined with an afternoon show.”

Patrick expects Mattie and Wietze to be reunited in the morning of Radio 538 and that Marieke will make the afternoon show with Coen Swijnenberg. And what about Sander Lantinga? “He has his hands full with four children, including a baby. He is also ready.”
It would be a huge blow to Qmusic, but according to Patrick not unrealistic. He also points out that Marieke is now 35. “She is hopelessly in love. And wants children. Even as a mother, it is almost impossible to combine with a morning show and TV shows at RTL. (…) This is the gossip going around for exactly these reasons.”
