Marieke Elsinga made a fool in Even Tot Hier: ‘Don’t do it!’

It just doesn’t stop for Marieke Elsinga. The presenter who received a TV monster from RTL 4 for her debut as a showmaster was embarrassed yesterday in Even Tot Hier.

It destroys the reputation of Marieke Elsinga, the participating celebrities and television as a medium in the whole: the megaflop Alles is Muziek. Unfortunately, many people will never get it out of their memory: Irene Moors who rams like a man possessed on a shuffleboard. And to think that many more celebrities followed after that.

‘No further with Marieke!’

That embarrassing first broadcast with Irene was not reason enough for RTL 4 to immediately remove the show from the tube. It was eventually decided to shorten things: in other words, fifty minutes of crooked toes instead of sixty. That makes a difference, but why would you as a viewer in a media landscape that is overflowing with offers?

Marieke was mocked last night in the mega hit Even Tot Here when it was about the Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream 2. Presenter Niels van der Laan: “You should not do a second after one. See, that’s the same as if you just ordered season two after season one of Alles is Muziek. You shouldn’t do that, right?”

“Gip is crazy!”

René van der Gijp was also the loser when it came to that controversial pipeline. Presenter Jeroen Woe: “So for an absurdly high amount we (as the Netherlands, ed.) signed a contract that tied us to a madman for years (the Russian president Putin, ed.).”

Then a large photo of René appears on the screen. Niels: “We look like Talpa, dude!”

And Jeroen a little later when it comes to the AIVD: “Man, the AIVD has begged more often to be careful than Douwe Bob!”

Trickiest joke

The spiciest joke of the evening was probably about the much-discussed iceberg that was photographed because it is shaped like a male genitalia.

For fun, Even Tot Hier photoshopped that photo into an iceberg that resembles a limp male genitals. Niels: “Then you think: what happened there, dude? But Waylon’s girlfriend sailed by!”

Fragment

The musical joke of the evening was about the failing Op1 duo:
