‘Marieke Elsinga is a kind of vanilla Danoon, very mwehhh’

Marieke Elsinga has only just recovered from the fact that the Today Inside men consider her a non-talent when she gets the next one: juice hyena Yvonne Coldeweijer.

It is not easy for the star duo of Qmusic: while Mattie Valk has been caught in his twin lie, other half Marieke Elsinga has been getting one critic after the other since her megaflop Everything is Music. The men of Today Inside have even declared her a non-talent.

Vanilla-Viv

And this time it is Marieke’s turn with the dreaded juice hyena Yvonne Coldeweijer. Her name was already mentioned in Yvonne’s podcast last week The Juice Show, but then she didn’t want to waste many words on it: “Stop talking about that Marieke. What an infantile human being that is.”

Now Yvonne is going wild in her program. “Marieke really is one of the most talented people… That is a bit like Vivienne (van den Assem, ed.). But it is valued. It just does Boule. Boul likes it very much. That one is fun. But I always call her a little vanilla.”

‘Marie too’

Yvonne also tastes this standard taste at Marieke. “That’s what I think of Marieke too, a bit of vanilla. But then a little bit of vanilla. Just a little… Mwehh… Childish, but we already talked about that. With that program making music on stuff and stuff.”

She is referring here to the flop Alles is Muziek. “WhateverAlso, you can’t always do everything you’re asked to do. But! But she really thought it was super necessary to tell on that radio show that she had been to John.”

Visiting John

Marieke said in one or the other section that she spoke with John de Mol. “She then had to tell you the last picture on you camera roll used to be. Well quite coincidentally that was: ‘Yesterday when I was with John.’ This is one of those pre-produced things from the editors, like: well, then we’ll also do something from your camera roll, so come up with something fun.”

She continues: “Marieke would have taken a selfie with her manager or something, in front of John’s office. And then we all had to think: wow, well, wow, he’s going to win a contract. So then I thought: well Marieke, we should all see that again. Get the contract first and then we’ll talk about it.”

‘Very sad’

What does Angela de Jong, Yvonne’s media aunt, think of it? She mainly sees Marieke as a victim. “I thought that RTL would do its best to protect one of their big stars, Marieke Elsinga. It saddens me to see what happens to her. On the radio she really is a big lady. So why do you have to be on TV with your sniffer?”

She decides New Rev: “I do not understand that the people around her have not sounded the alarm to guard her image. Marieke certainly has something to offer, but then she must have a program that she can sink her teeth into.”
