Marieke Elsinga irritates Angela de Jong: ‘So exaggerated’

The new RTL 4 show Fout Maar Goed started with excellent viewing figures, but Angela de Jong does not like it. She is particularly annoyed by the ‘exaggerated’ Marieke Elsinga.

The new game show Fout Maar Goud, in which everything revolves around guilty pleasuresstarted on RTL 4 last night with an excellent 815 thousand viewers (18 percent market share). The program by Chantal Janzen, Marieke Elsinga and Gerard Joling even achieved 27 percent market share in the commercial target group.

Criticism of Angela

It will satisfy RTL 4, says viewing figure authority Tina Nijkamp. “The market share in the commercial target group is about the same as the hit B&B Vol Liefde and slightly less than Expedition Robinson (33.5 percent). RTL will be very satisfied with this score and the pastry chef can be called for cake.”

Angela de Jong, the opinion diva of the AD, was one of the viewers and is not enthusiastic. “Earlier this week Chantal Janzen pretended to be the most special program she had ever presented at Jinek’s table. But it’s a shabby mix of every panel show ever conceived,” she writes in her column.

Sneer to Marieke

Marieke’s performance in particular causes annoyance to Angela. “Because the makers doubted whether it all turned out to be hysterical enough, team captain Marieke Elsinga was quickly sent to the course ‘how do I react as exaggerated as possible to everything’.”

It seems that this program was created by ‘drunk toddlers’, according to Angela. “And then they wonder at the Media Park why people are watching less and less TV.”

Dear Singers

Two programs outperformed Fout Maar Goed at prime time, namely the NPO 1 titles Best Singers (1.1 million and 24 percent) and Dit Was Het Nieuws (884 thousand and 20 percent). The bronze went to SBS 6, which attracted 762 thousand viewers (17 percent) with Frank Visser and 744 thousand (17 percent) with Today Inside.

SBS 6 will breathe a sigh of relief with Frank Visser’s score after four weeks of miserable scoring with repeats of the Linda de Mol series Deep Grounds on this broadcast evening.
