The flop talk show HLF8 is almost starting a new season on SBS 6. Since Johnny de Mol is still in the dock, the presentation is temporarily taken over by Hélène Hendriks and Leonie ter Braak. The intention is that the talk show in the new season will not become so boring and interchangeable.

Hélène sends an email

Hélène has sent a whole letter to the makers of HLF8, which is produced by Jeroen Pauw’s TV company. “If we do what we did, we get what we got. It’s a bit cliche, but it’s true. I did write an email,” she told Today Inside last night.

What does she think should be done with HLF8? “For example, I think you should dare to let go of the big news for once and if you already treat it then you should treat it differently and choose a different angle, but we all went after corona and the war. .”

Guest choice

Well, what a refreshing plan from Hélène. That’s what Johnny also called when he started HLF8, after which it was still about corona night after night. “I understand, because it is big, but dare to let it go for once.”

The same goes for the guest list, according to Hélène. “I also think that with guest choice. We draw a lot from the same tube. I think you should look more at professors.”

Marieke Derksen

Professors and… Marieke Derksen, ‘the daughter of’ who now and then sprays an opinion on Twitter. “My daughter has been approached as a sidekick,” Johan Derksen told Hélène.

Hélène: “Yes, I wanted to, yes, but she’s not allowed, isn’t she? Or she won’t?”

Johan: “Well, the problem is. She says to me: ‘If you say something there, I’ll get all the bullsh*t on social media, let alone if I say something myself. I do not feel like it.'”

Hélène: “Yes, but she is someone with an opinion. I also wrote that down: if you have a sidekick or someone at the table, you must have someone who has a bit of body and dares to say something.”

What about Johnny?

Finally, Hélène has made it a hobby to downplay Johnny’s alleged misconduct. She keeps shouting that he just happily returns to the program. “They want to wait a little longer with Johnny. The intention is that he will return, but they still want to wait for that verdict.”

When Wilfred Genee points out that that statement can sometimes have a negative effect on Johnny, Hélène shrugs. According to her, Johnny just returns: “Yes, that’s the intention. We will indeed take over for two months.”
