Schlitz announced her resignation this week. “I am not irreplaceable. There is a lot of emerging female talent at Ecolo,” she said at a press conference. “I count on the ongoing projects to be continued in the interest of all Belgians. I pass the torch so that the government can continue the fight unabated.”
