Margje Fikse pissed off at Özcan Akyol after criticism of bloody Op1

Margje Fikse thinks that her TV colleague Özcan Akyol reacts very annoyingly to the way she dealt with the bloody incident during Op1 last night. “Blazy,” she snaps at him.

It was a strange broadcast of Op1 last night. After a short video, the viewer saw how one of the guests suddenly lay injured on the floor. Everyone stood up to help the woman, but Charles Groenhuijsen and Margje Fikse remained seated and seemed to have no idea what to do exactly.

Marge stays put

Margje began to report on the situation in a very matter-of-fact manner, as if she were commenting on images from another place. “One of the guests has fallen and it is not going well. She is being helped up right now. She is bleeding and it is really not going well,” she said, among other things.

There has been a lot of criticism for that. For example, investigative journalist Kim van Keken tweets: “Those presenters really can’t do anything without someone in their earphones – not even helping the guests.”

Criticism of Ozcan

NPO star Özcan Akyol hits on Kim’s tweet. He writes: “The script also says when they can breathe and cough.”

Kim then again: “Ear: ‘Charles! How often do I have to say: you cough DURING the video. And keep your hands off those papers. Leave that woman alone, go on with the show!’”

And Özcan: “Maybe they were looking in the script for the moment when the woman would fall.”

Marge pissed

Well, Margje really doesn’t like that. She gives Özcan a digital tap on the fingers. “Bad”, she tells him shortly but firmly.

The presenter thinks she acted well, she says to Kim. “At the moment that two doctors and a number of other people are there to help her, I would mainly be in the way, I think you understand that. And when I say ‘I find it annoying’, of course means ‘annoying for her’! In fact, very much.”

‘unreasonable whining’

One Marsha is not convinced. “Your response was as anemic as your overall presentation. Even a Jinek about to explode had taken care of her guest.”

Margje doesn’t give up. She retweets a message from one Adam, who goes wild with Kim: “The presenter sees that the lady is being helped and also reports that. What did they do to you in Hilversum to complain so unreasonably. Have you ever been turned down for a job?

Plastic

By the way, Margje contributes Show news I do admit that the tone and manner in which she reported the situation may not have been appropriate. “I could have done better. One thing is important: that I certainly felt sorry for this lady. People who think that this is not the case, that is ridiculous.”
