Sea outside 4the plot of the new episodes

The new season starts again from the shot at the Mirabilis swimming pool where Carmine Di Salvo (Massimiliano Caiazzo) and Rosa Ricci (Maria Esposito) met. Discovered by Don Salvatore Ricci (Raiz), Rosa was forced to choose between family and Carmine. Finally a shot went off and the credits rolled.

After months of speculation, rumors and false hopes of seeing Ciro (Giacomo Giorgio) alive again, Rosa’s brother killed at the end of the first season, it turns out that the bullet hit Don Salvatore. A new page opens for Rosa, where she must understand which side to be on, whether on that of the family and therefore of the underworld, or whether to rely on the love that binds her to Carminedetermined for some time to distance himself from the criminal context in which he also grew up.

There is a connection to the Ricci clan Edoardo Conte (Matteo Paolillo). Don Salvatore betrayed him and Edoardo was the victim of an ambush. After struggling between life and death, he awakens from a coma. He can count, as always, on the unconditional support of his wife Carmela (Giovanna Sannino).

What will become of them once he is discharged? And is he done with Teresa (Ludovica Coscione), the lover he is in love with, forever? During hospitalization, then, receives a visit from Commander Massimo (Carmine Recano), who encourages him to change his life. Edoardo, however, has always been thirsty for power and in his case, hoping for a change becomes a rather difficult undertaking.

Cardiotrap, Cucciolo, Giulia/Crazy J, Milos and the others

The news also concerns the other protagonists. The trio formed by Cucciolo (Francesco Panarella), Dobermann (Salahudin Tidjani) and Micciarella finds themselves facing new challenges. Cucciolo wants to get into Don Salvatore’s good graces, but he also has a clandestine relationship with Milos (Anthony Aquinas). They are in love, but his brother Micciarella (Giuseppe Pirozzi) does not accept their union and is a loose cannon.

Dobermann is more and more taken by Kubra (Keyshan Wilson), which is angry with Beppe (Vincenzo Ferrera) because he hid his true identity from her. Although she doesn’t want to establish a father-daughter relationship, accept his advice and start studying again. Doberman also embarks on this adventure, resulting in Pino’s (Artem) jealousy. Pino, in turn, wants to become more responsible, but must learn to keep his aggression at bay.

Mimmo (Alessandro Orrei) also wants to change his life and who knows if he will finally obtain forgiveness from his mother, who disowned him when he decided to delve into the Camorra. Still, Giulia aka Crazy J (Clara Soccini) reaps the fruits of his success, but soon faces a setback.

Among the companions to ask for support he chooses Cardiotrap (Domenico Cuomo), the one he stole from Origami at dawn, the song with which she became famous. Cardiotrap, after saying goodbye to his girlfriend Gemma (Serena Codato), finds serenity also thanks to the relationship he establishes with the new entry Alina (Neva Sai).

Still on the subject of new entries, Angelo also arrives in the juvenile prison of Nisida (Luca Varone). He comes from a respectable family and keeps a secret. His story is intertwined with that of Silvia (Clotilde Esposito), who is certain she has already met him. Silvia continues her relationship with the lawyer Alfredo D’Angelo (Giuseppe Tantillo), but trouble is just around the corner.

The change of Massimo and Sofia

Adults experience equally complicated moments. Massimo must deal with reality and accept that perhaps good intentions are not enough. He has always behaved honestly and sincerely with the kids, but it is difficult to overcome arrogance and oppression. He will be forced to make difficult choices, which will also involve his family.

The institute is still managed by the severe and reserved Sofia Durante (Lucrezia Guidone). After contributing to Paola’s (Carolina Crescentini) transfer, she is convinced that she is pursuing a hard line. Yet for her too, there are unexpected news on the horizon. She acquires a little elasticity and learn to be empathetic thanks to the beginning of a relationship completely unexpected.

Finally, a treat for Giacomo Giorgio fans. The truth about the Ricci family emerges through the memories of the young Ciro. The mother enters the scene in the years when she was alive and he was still a child. Years in which the relationship with his father, Don Salvatore, was not idyllic and we discover what happened to him.

Sea outside 4the review of the first two episodes

The series continues in the wake of what has been done previously. The stories intertwine naturally, without creating friction, preserving the surprise effect. Sea outside has reached its fourth season and others are expected in the coming years. This means that the cast will undergo changes as has already happened. It is to be expected that the new episodes will mark a dividing line, at least in part, between what has been and what will be.

Furthermore, an important one is pre-eminent use of flashback. An expedient to insert new narrative lines that enrich the plot. In particular, the Riccis’ family relationships which will impact the love between Rosa and Carmine. Now they are together, the courtship period is over and they have to understand what future they want. Regarding the new entries, it will be interesting to observe how Angelo’s arrival intersects with Silvia’s life and her relationship with Alfredo. And then there is Massimo, the character who – judging from the first episodes – will experience an important change.

Sea outside 4 confirms the quality of the previous seasons both on a directorial level – Ivan Silvestrini – both on the acting side. Furthermore, the series can count on the success achieved previously and the great anticipation on the part of the public. And it is likely that it will replicate the glories of the past, in particular last year when after the move to Netflix it became a real cult.
