Marcus Grönholm returned to the wheel of a rally car after a break of a few years in the Mythical Cars competition in Italy.
The two-time world champion raced to the lead in the rally until it was all over as a result of one mistake. Grönholm scrapped his Subaru Impreza WRC racer on Friday evening.
– This is complete bullshit. Great shit. I feel really sorry for Alessando (Gino, car owner) and the rally. I came here to have a good time, wave at people and enjoy the show, and then this happens, Grönholm bewitched Dirtfish in the interview.
The race in northern Italy started flawlessly for the champion. Grönholm told to the rallit.fi website, that the previous time a similar Subaru had been under 14 years ago in the Portuguese rally. This time, too, the map reader acted as a credit man Timo Rautiainen.
