Italian eyewear manufacturer Marcolin SpA has handed over additional responsibility to Alessio Puleo. On Tuesday, the company announced Puleo’s promotion to Group Marketing Director. In this role, he will report directly to Fabrizio Curci, the Group’s CEO and General Manager.
Puleo, who has been with Marcolin since 2021, now bears “direct responsibility for the areas of Group Brand Management and Trade Marketing & Training as well as for marketing analysis,” according to a statement. In his new role, he will “head the development and expansion of the marketing department” in order to “accelerate the growth of the brand portfolio worldwide” as part of the corporate strategy.
The Marcolin Group, based in Longarone in northern Italy, is one of the world’s leading eyewear manufacturers. The group owns its own brands Web Eyewear, Marcolin and Viva, and is also an eyewear license partner for numerous well-known fashion and shoe labels such as Tom Ford, Guess, Adidas, Bally, Moncler, Max Mara, Timberland and Skechers.
