Marco Schuitmaker critically on his songs from the past: ‘I was not to hear’

With his huge hit ‘Engelbewaarder’, 26-year-old Marco Schuitmaker gained a place with the most successful folk singers in the Netherlands. Last week his album came out with the imaginative title ‘I succeeded’. “If I see the videos back from 8 years ago, I don’t understand why I continued singing.”
