It seems that Marco Borsato is taking a different tack. For a long time he did little else than hide in his apartment in Alkmaar, but recently he regularly appeared in public life. This is how private weekly saw him unabashedly a few weeks ago drinking coffee on a terrace, near the busy Waagplein in the cheese city.

Marco spotted

And last week Marco was big on the cover van de Story, who photographed him walking to his mother Mary Borsato’s birthday party. Her party took place in the Alkmaar diner Pluim and Marco was also present. He arrived with his son Senna, dressed completely in black, including a black cap.

Now Marco even dares to move through the busy capital. Yvonne Coldeweijer reports that he was spotted there last night. “bold move from Stalko!”, she writes on her juice channel.

‘People looked up’

What was Marco doing in Amsterdam? “He came out of his sadness hole and went to dinner at Izakaya in Amsterdam tonight ?. It is quite ‘see and be seen’ there, so it is striking that he has dared to do that. The people on the terrace were even surprised,” writes Yvonne.

The juice channel Reality FBI reports that Marco’s former colleague Ali B was also spotted in the center of Amsterdam last night. “Ali B was seen in Disneyland for several days in a row, but was back in Amsterdam tonight. In the Italian restaurant Peppino, he was having dinner with some friends.”

Enough money

One thing is certain: Marco didn’t pay attention to the money at the expensive Izakaya. And according to colleague Wolter Kroes, that is not necessary at all. “Marco can afford to stop working,” he says in Weekend magazine. “He has that luck. Financially, that boy is completely ready, he can keep calm.”

That’s not surprising with Marco’s track record, Wolter explains. “Marco is the artist in the Netherlands. He has sold out the Kuip so many times.”
