GTST celebrity Ferri Somogyi still cannot get over the fact that he has been named as an escort of Marc van der Linden. It’s the weirdest thing he’s ever heard about himself, he says.
Marc van der Linden was once known as the royalty expert of RTL Boulevard, but he has fallen on hard times. Early last year he was dumped by Weekend magazine after spending a night in jail. There are all sorts of shady things going on that the dogs don’t like. A lot of those things have to do with lust.
Kidding me?
Dennis Schouten came up with a very strange rumor in his program in May GossipTalk, namely about Ferri Somogyi. He therefore called him: “We heard from a very reliable source and first-hand through Marc van der Linden that Marc was once in a hotel in America and that you visited Marc as an escort.”
It left Ferri irritated: “Okay, um, well, Marc, Jesus Christ… Are you serious? Are you f*cking kidding me? What nonsense. First of all, you are talking about Marc van der Linden. “He has always been targeting me anyway, ever since I was in the series.”
‘Just as normal!’
Ferri didn’t like that RoddelPraat seriously made an item out of this. “Boy, just be normal man. This is an incredibly bullsh*t story. Then you are selling so much nonsense! Of course it’s not true!”
Dennis: “So Marc was in America, you were there too and then you would have gotten a job as an escort. Then Marc allegedly called an escort line in a hotel, you came there and then you were shocked that you saw each other.”
‘A liar!’
Ferri then already hinted at RoddelPraat that Marc would be a notorious liar. “Marc van der Linden always lies. He used to make a sport of writing nonsense about me every week. I don’t know why he picked on me.”
And now, seven months later, he repeats that in an end-of-year interview with the Beau Monde. “What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever read about yourself?” the magazine asks him.
‘This hit everything’
Ferri doesn’t have to think about that question for long. “A while ago I received a call live on the broadcast from Dennis Schouten from RoddelPraat. He had heard from a supposedly reliable source that I had offered myself as an escort to Marc van der Linden. That would have happened in the five years I lived in Los Angeles.”
He concludes: “Whether that was correct? I have known Marc van der Linden for a hundred years and he is a pathological liar. I already knew that, but this really hit everything.”
