Former Ajax director Marc Overmars ended up in hospital last night. According to his current club, Royal Antwerp FC, this was due to a ‘mild heart attack’.
Overmars became unwell last night. “Marc is doing well in the meantime, but will have to take it easy for a while,” the club writes. “Marc and his family focus on his recovery and do not wish to comment further. RAFC wishes Marc a speedy recovery!”
