Marc O’Polo opens new product development center

Marc O’Polo has opened its new center for design and product development on the company premises in Stephanskirchen.

The so-called ‘House of Product’ was put into operation after a construction period of one and a half years, the clothing supplier announced on Friday. Around 150 employees can be found on an area of ​​around 2,500 square meters spread over three floors.

“Instead of the traditional division into individual product disciplines, the innovative spatial concept of the House of Product brings together talents from different areas of product development, strengthens cooperation and enables a new form of collective work,” said Maximilian Böck, CEO of Marc O’Polo SE.

The company, founded in Stockholm in 1967, has been in Stephanskirchen for almost 40 years. The Upper Bavarian location became the company headquarters at the end of the 1990s and has been expanding since the turn of the millennium.

“The new House of Product is a milestone in the history of Marc O’Polo, an innovative place for creativity, inspiration and collaboration. The focus is on the product,” said Werner Böck, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and majority shareholder of Marc O’Polo SE. “It is an investment for our employees, who are given the necessary space and the inspiring environment for creative ideas.”
