Marc O’Polo achieves record sales in the 2021/22 financial year

The Stephanskirchen-based clothing retailer Marc O’Polo achieved record sales in the 2021/22 financial year. “For the first time in the company’s history, we generated sales of more than half a billion euros,” said Maximilian Böck, Managing Director at Marc O’Polo, in a press release on Tuesday. “Our strategy and investments in internationalization, modernization of the brand and sustainability of products and companies are paying off in full.”

The company increased its sales – including license business – by 35 percent year-on-year to EUR 592 million. The reason for this is the growth of the Marc O’Polo Denim line, where sales increased by almost 80 percent. In addition, the clothing supplier achieved a 40 percent increase in sales outside the home market compared to the previous year. But also in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) a sales growth of 31 percent compared to the previous year was achieved.

“Thanks to our strategy, we are not only right on track in terms of sales, but have also been able to sustainably increase our profitability,” said CFO Markus Staude Skowronek. “This creates the basis for further growth as a healthy company.”
