After several months of rehab, eight-time motorcycle world champion Marc Márquez is set to return to his MotoGP machine next week.
As the Honda works team announced on Friday, the Spaniard will complete tests on the RC213V after the San Marino Grand Prix in Misano (Sunday, 2:00 p.m.) on the track. The trip is scheduled for Tuesday.
Márquez was already at MotorLand Aragón on a street bike (Honda CBR600RR) during the week. The 29-year-old should arrive in Misano on Friday.
Marquez underwent surgery on his right upper arm for the fourth time in early June. Since then, Honda test driver Stefan Bradl has been his substitute.
