Marc-Marie Huijbregts is simply surprised that Linda de Mol lashes out at him so hard. “If I’m honest, I don’t mind that I deserved that, but okay.”
Linda de Mol has lashed out hard at a whole series of celebrities in her bitter comeback column, including Marc-Marie Huijbregts. The comedian was a guest in Beau van Erven Dorens’ talk show in January when two alleged victims of Linda’s (ex-) sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen were also in the studio.

Linda thinks it’s disgusting how Marc-Marie behaved there. “There was a broadcast by Beau in which an unprecedented example of trial-by-media took place: a woman was literally screamed at the table to make a report, while every lawyer and expert says that victims should tell their story to the police and not on television.”
Apparently no one has read Linda’s bitter part, because she contradicts herself enormously. Linda believes that alleged victims ‘should tell their story to the police’, but that is of course exactly what Marc-Marie advised the lady in question ‘screaming’.
Marc-Marie stunned
Marc-Marie really doesn’t understand Linda’s mean outburst at all, he says in his podcast Marc-Marie & Aaf Tell Something. “The LINDA. is completely filled with Linda’s statement this month. Like seven pages or so! It’s very long. It is very long, she really sat down for it.”
He is seriously disappointed. “I always think she’s a bit pathetic because it all just happened to her and stuff, but apparently she says in there that she’s attacking me, because I then said something about Beau to such a girl, like: ‘Yes, you must file a report.’”
No regrets
Marc-Marie does not regret that advice. “What she said was very bad, so I thought: God, go report it. That’s the only way really. I don’t know what else to say. It’s hard for me to say, “Don’t go to the police!” You certainly won’t say that. Or: ‘Shut up! It can’t be that bad!’”
Linda apparently did not realize that he has always defended her, according to the comedian. “For the rest, I’m the one who always defends Linda very strongly. Even during the time when she was very much attacked, I always thought: she is also a victim and she can’t do anything about it.”
‘I am surprised’
It therefore hits Marc-Marie extra hard. “I always think it’s very stupid to attack her and stuff, so I was surprised to be honest that she suddenly gives me the chance. If I’m honest, I don’t mind that I deserved that, but okay.”
He doesn’t understand that this has ended up in Linda’s comeback column. “Someone will pass, you would think. That someone watches and says, ‘Gosh, would you call that one?’”
