The fashion label Marc Cain presented its collection for spring/summer 2023 during the Fashion Week in Berlin. The company, which was founded in Italy in 1973 and has been based in Bodelshausen in Baden-Württemberg for a long time, chose a restaurant ambience by a lake in the Tiergarten district on Tuesday evening. In addition to plenty of fashion, there was also a real star to see: supermodel Tyra Banks was a guest.
Marc Cain, originally from the knitwear sector, sees a woman in the center of his target group who lives in the here and now, who is self-confident, open and curious.
In the presented collection for 2023, this means a lot of sand-colored, beige elements that are combined with animal and nature prints. In between, orange tops and combinations add a strong splash of color. There are also long knit elements as jackets or plain-colored dresses. The casual cuts let things fall loosely.
Leopard prints are common and seem to fade into camouflage colors on some parts. Bright blue can not only be found for the beach, sometimes also as a batik pattern reminiscent of the 70s.
During Fashion Week, fashion enthusiasts, buyers and trade visitors meet for shows, trade fairs, exhibitions and other events until Saturday. The Fashion Week combines several events related to fashion under one roof.
