US singer Marc Anthony (53) has canceled a concert in Panama because of an accident at his hotel.
Local organizers Magic Dreams said on Facebook on Thursday that doctors on site had determined that he was unable to perform the concert on Wednesday evening (local time) in Panama City.
The ex-husband of singer and actress Jennifer Lopez was brought to the US city of Miami for treatment by specialists.
Marc Anthony had an accident on a staircase while preparing to go to the concert, according to a statement from his management, which the TV show “El Gordo y la Flaca” shared on Instagram on Thursday. The New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent suffered back problems, which prevented the performance. This will be postponed to another date.
According to reports from the Panamanian media, the audience at the Rommel Fernández stadium in the capital of the Central American country was informed about the failure over loudspeakers.
