The separation from his wife has not been too long ago. Now Marc-André Ter Stegen has made his new love public.
At the beginning of March, Marc-André Ter Stegen and his wife Daniela announced the separation after eight years of marriage. The couple got to know each other in 2012, then married in 2017. Two children together crowned the happiness in love.
In a joint statement on Instagram it was said at the time: “Hello everyone, after a careful consideration, Dani and I decided to go separate ways. This decision was not easy for us, as you can imagine, but we both believe that it is the best step for us.”
A little more than three months later, the German national goalkeeper now apparently has a new woman at his side.
In his Instagram story, Ter Stegen posted a photo of his hand, which holds the hand of another person. This wears a white dress with red flowers and leaves on it. The article provided the contribution with the word “Junts”, which means “together” in Catalan – a clear message. He also added a red heart emoji to the whole.
The mysterious woman can also be seen in a second photo. At sunset she sits in a restaurant by the sea, looks at the water.
Ter Stegen’s new love is probably Ona Sellares. She shared the 33-year-old’s story in her own Instagram story. She also published the second photo as a separate contribution in her profile, which currently follows around 17,300 people. Her contribution also shows that the pictures were obviously taken in Greece on a vacation together.
Another photo shows again how Ter Stegen and Sellares hold their hands. The sea can be seen in the background. On the table where the two have put their hands, there is a wine glass, among other things. Ter Stegen commented on the post with an emoji with heart eyes and a red heart emoji.
Where the DFB star and Sellares got to know each other is not known. Just as little as it continues with Ter Stegen’s sporting career.
The ex-Gladbacher has been playing for FC Barcelona since 2014. However, the Catalans recently signed Joan García from City Rival Espanyol. With Wojciech Szczęsny, another top goalkeeper in Barcelona is under contract. An exit from the Spanish champion does not seem to be excluded.
