MAPPA, a new gastronomic fair with products from all over the country

From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 October, with free admission via the web, you can visit the Argentine Market of Producers and Agrifood Products (MAPPA) at the intersection of Matienzo and Zapiola from the city. It is the first edition of the gastronomic fair of this great federal market organized by Gastronomic BA It will open at 12 noon until 11 p.m.

The proposal is to get to know and taste the gastronomic richness of all the regions of the country, offering more than 600 products from 250 exhibitors. There will also be a gastronomic tasting by renowned chefs whose premise is to cook only with products from the market. Those who visit the stalls will be able to vote for their favorite producer from the Dulce de Leche, Honey, Cheese and Olive Oil categories. The winner of each category will receive an official award.

There will also be a wine tasting sector to meet and learn about the wine industry with the presence of wineries from the country. In addition, the Wine Bar will have a menu of more than 50 wine labels by the glass to enjoy. Both spaces were curated by the sommelier Fabrizio Portelli. The Cocktail sector will be present at the hands of the bartender Inés de los Santos with hers, her space Bardo de ella.

Among the products that the meeting offers, you will find all kinds of oils, cheeses, nuts, meats, cereals, charcuterie, sweets, spices, flours of different origins, legumes, agroecological fruits and vegetables, unique honeys, vinegars, special herbs and plus. Among those recommended we can mention the organic jams from Finca Paru (Mendoza), cherries and sweets from Mñam (Chubut), walnuts from GR (Catamarca), wild mushrooms from Hongos & Funghi (Córdoba), rice beer from Fermentería Hermanas Eva (Entre Ríos), lamb salami (Río Negro), pistachios from Frutos del Sol (San Juan) and Yerba mate Akaguapy (Misiones).

The exhibition will have a Cheese Bar to taste a wide selection of dairy products made by the participants themselves. There will also be talks by renowned figures of gastronomy such as Gastón Acurio, Malena Martínez, Dolli Irigoyen, Roberto Petersen, Germán Martitegui, Christophe Krywonis, Vanina Chimenoamong other special guests.
