The Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nation, John Manzurled today in San Miguel de Tucumán the 10th Assembly of the Norte Grande Regional Council, the first meeting of the bloc since its creation by law was approved in the National Senate.
And he maintained that the scenario of the world economy opens “a great opportunity” to exploit “the full potential” of the block. “Argentina’s insertion into the world will come from within,” she stated. And he made it clear that one of the great objectives of the Government of Alberto Fernandez is “that the North ceases to be the Cinderella of Argentina”.
The meeting was attended by ten governors: from Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo; from Salta, Gustavo Saenz; from Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora; from Chaco, Jorge Captainich; of missions, Oscar Herrera Ahuad; from Formosan, Gildo Insfran; from Catamarca, Raul Jalil; and from La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela.
And the deputy governor of Jujuy, Carlos Haquim, who attended on behalf of Gerard Morales, who was in La Plata for the National Committee of Radicalism, where he reaffirmed his will to compete internally with the UCR and Together, with Facundo Manes.
Meanwhile, Manzur, a reference for the governors in the Executive (he left the government of Tucumán to second Alberto Fernández), was accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Edward of Peter; tourism and sports, Matthias Lammens; Environment and Sustainable Development, Juan Cabandie; the deputy chief of staff, George Neme; media secretary, John Ross; and the Undersecretary for Relations with the Provinces, Paula Español.
“We all know the potential that exists in the North”, insisted Manzur in reference to lithium, “a scarce and strategic input, which has here the most important reserves in the world”.
“I see proposals and investments that have to do with the lithium, and I say this to mention just one point, but from there we have a large number of initiatives”, specified the chief of staff. And he concluded: “All of this must be given the consistency that the governors are giving him today”.
“Several governors and actors in Argentine politics have discussed again about reality of the structural imbalances in Argentina and that is the product of the excellent idea that the governors of the Great North had to make this Council”, supported “Wado” De Pedro, the other minister who could have, along with Manzur, a presidential star.
And the president pro tempore of the Norte Grande, Gerardo Zamora, thanked the National Government for “accompanying the agenda” of the region. “The national government, with a lot of effort, overcoming a pandemic and with many economic, health and social difficulties, is reaching each of our provinces,” said the host governor, Osvaldo Jaldo, on a day marked by the internal winks in the Front of All.
