“More than 1 in 10 of the serious cycling accidents occur between cyclists.” So says lawyer Marc Peeters, after a fatal collision between a ‘racing driver’ and a retired cyclist on an Antwerp towpath. “Cyclists and speed pedelecs must also urgently start to adhere to the maximum speed of 30 km/h.”
