Soccer world champion Bastian Schweinsteiger is not available to the English record champions Manchester United for the time being. The 31-year-old is suffering from a knee injury and, as expected, missed Tuesday’s league game at Newcastle United. “I will work hard to come back and help as soon as possible,” Schweinsteiger wrote via Twitter on Tuesday evening. Schweinsteiger suffered the injury in Saturday’s FA Cup game against Sheffield United (1-0). Because Manchester had already made three changes at this point, he still played the game to the end.
