Manor appoints Miriam Anlauf as Category Director Fashion

The Swiss trading group Manor AG has filled a key position in the fashion sector. On Monday, at the request of FashionUnited, the company confirmed the appointment of Miriam Anlauf as Category Director Fashion.

Anlauf will take up her new position on November 1st and will in future “also play a central role in the modernization of the Manor fashion offerings with a new concept,” explained the department store operator, which is part of the Maus-Frères Group. The retailer had already announced at the end of August that it would specifically strengthen the fashion category. For example, there are plans to “renovate over 20,000 square meters of fashion space in twelve large department stores” in the women’s and men’s fashion areas in order to improve the customer experience.

According to her new employer, Anlauf held various management positions at the clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf and its Vienna-based sister company over a period of eleven years. Most recently, she was “Head of Purchasing and Buying Director for Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland since 2016”.
