The police advise residents of Rijsbergen to stay indoors. In that region, the police are hunting some men who have fled from Belgium. They committed a robbery there in Nieuwmoer and are possibly dangerous with firearms.
One of the suspects was already arrested by the police. That happened on the Antwerpseweg, which runs right through the village. The police fired warning shots during this arrest.
