Mango increases half-year sales by 20 percent

The Spanish clothing retailer Mango has maintained the growth rate of the record year 2022 in recent months. The company announced on Wednesday that it had generated sales of around EUR 1.45 billion in the first half of the current year. This corresponded to an increase of twenty percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

Since the beginning of the year, the company has increased the number of its worldwide points of sale by 40 to a total of 2,615. The clothing retailer intends to continue its course of expansion. Among other things, the focus is on important growth markets such as the “strategic countries” Turkey and India as well as the USA. Mango has great ambitions there: “The company has set itself the goal of opening around 40 sales outlets by 2024 and making the United States one of the five markets with the highest sales,” says a statement.

Overall, the clothing supplier has planned investments totaling more than 200 million euros for 2023. “Technology, logistics, stores and the new Mango campus will account for the bulk of the investments for the full year,” the company said.
