Manchester United announced that it terminated the contract of Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon, whom he rented from Tottenham at the beginning of the season, and returned to Tottenham.
Reguilon, who played in 12 matches for Manchester United this season, could not score a goal or assist.
Reguilon, who grew up in the Real Madrid infrastructure, also played for Spanish teams Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, as well as Tottenham.
