Because of expected fan reactions
Paul Pogba is expected to leave Manchester United on a free transfer when his contract expires on June 30. However, the 29-year-old midfielder will not switch to city rivals Manchester City – although the players and the club were in fundamental agreement on the terms. The reason for this, reports the newspaper “TheTimes“, are Pogba’s fears about the reactions to be expected from the “Red Devils” supporters.

Carlos Tévez, who switched to City after two years in 2009, is a cautionary tale for the French world champions. That’s why Pogba canceled the “Citizens” and turned his focus to clubs outside of England. According to reports from France, Italy and England, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus Turin, from where Pogba returned to Man United for 105 million euros in 2016, are in a duel for the 91-time national player.
The “old lady” is said to have offered her former player, 178 games with 34 goals and 40 assists between 2012 and 2016, a three-year contract with a net salary of 7.5 million euros plus bonuses.
