Manchester United: Jesse Lingard is leaving – upheaval is progressing

It’s a great pity that he didn’t get a chance to prove himself. United just do nonsense. Lingard could have helped United this season

In addition to the games in which he “didn’t get the chance to prove himself”, there are also 5 training days a week.
In the few assignments he never did anything other than subordinate himself negatively and that with 2 coaches in a row. Maybe it just wasn’t good enough in the end.
The guy turns 30 this year and he only managed to score double digits once for United. The question at United is rather why players who are not 100% can stay in the squad for so long.

See Jones, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Pereira, …

Sorry that I slipped in like that.. that may be true, but he definitely convinced me in the performances he had and harmonized very well with Ronaldo. But of course you’re right, at the end of the day the pros just know better what’s going on.. would have been nice to see Lingardinho play with Ronaldo anyway.

It wasn’t a foul
The games in which Ronaldo excelled can also be counted on one hand. All in all, it was all pretty unimaginative this season, especially going forward. And there Lingard might be a PL player, but nothing more. Sancho, for example, could at least 1v1, he has shown that to some extent, even if not regularly enough… The boy simply lacks self-confidence, Lingaed definitely lacks quality.

I can’t even remember when Lingard “suddenly” debuted. I mean it was under Solksjaer: I thought “amazing discovery of the year”. After that it felt like just a spasm with Lingard.

So it’s right for both sides to let him go on a free transfer, I wish him all the best.

United needs a season without all these secondary theaters – Pogba, Greenwood, Rangnick etc. Then it can actually work again. But for that you have to replace the rusted material first.
