Manchester United picked up a place in the final of the league cup. The second part of the semi-final was a formality, as United had claimed a 3-0 lead from Nottingham a week ago.
United won 2–0 on their home turf Anthony Martial’s and Fred’s with hits at the end of the second half. Marcus Rashford initially both hits.

Newcastle final opponent
The League Cup final will be played at Wembley on February 26.
United’s final opponent is Newcastle, who are having an excellent season and beat Southampton 3–1 on aggregate.
