English Premier League team Manchester City transferred Claudio Echeverri from Argentina’s River Plate team.
Manchester City Club announced that a contract was signed with the 18-year-old midfielder until June 2028.
It was stated that the young football player will continue to play for River Plate until January next year.
It was claimed in the British press that Manchester City would pay a transfer fee of 12.5 million pounds for this transfer.
Echeverri took part in 6 league matches of River Plate’s A team, from whose youth team he trained.
Echeverri, who attracted attention at the 2023 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, where Argentina came 4th, completed the tournament with 5 goals as team captain.
